Blended First Aid Training at Work
This blended First Aid Training is for people intending to act as a First Aider at Work and complies with Health and Safety Executive First Aid guidelines 1981.
It comprises of 2 parts: our e-learning module (approximately 6hrs online) followed by completing 2 days in the classroom to cover all the practical sessions of the course by a fully qualified first aid instructor.
Part 1 – You will be required to complete our interactive e-learning module (approximately 6hrs online) and this can be done any time before you attend the 2-day face to face training. You will be sent a link to the e-learning module when you book this course.
Part 2 – This is 2-day face to face in the classroom where you will learn and demonstrate all the practical sections of the course.
Candidates are assessed on the final afternoon of the course and upon successful completion will be awarded certification in line with the Health and Safety Executive First Aid guidelines 1981 which is valid for 3 years.

- Control of Bleeding (Includes Catastrophic Bleeding and Tourniquet Training)

- Minor Injuries
- Choking
- Fractures (Including Sprains, Strains & Dislocations)
- Spinal Injury
- Chest Injury
- Burns
- Hypothermia
- Heat Exhaustion / Heat Stroke
- Poisoning
Medical Conditions Including:
- Anaphylaxis Shock
- Epilepsy
- Diabetes
- Asthma
- Heart Attack
- Stroke
Regulations:

Assessment
A short multiple-choice assessment at the end of the e-learning module plus continuous assessment by your instructor throughout the face to face training course.
Certification
On successful completion of the course you will receive certification in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is recognised by FAIB
Duration
The e-learning module will take up to 6hrs hours to complete plus, 2 days face to face training.

*Under the current guidelines it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months.
