Level 2 Equality and Diversity
This course is aimed at understanding Equality and Diversity in society, the community and the workplace. Within this course you will explore; what equality is, what diversity means, the effects of stereotyping and labelling, the effects of prejudice and discrimination and the ways in which people might choose to describe themselves. It will also further your understanding of current legislation and the key principles surrounding this subject.
It also aims to promote equality and diversity in order to make learners more socially aware. It is an effective and insightful way to strengthen employees’ knowledge on best practice. The course is completed either online or paper based and enables you to gain a new qualification whilst working. You will have access to specialist support from dedicated tutors throughout the programme.

ELIGIBILITY
- Age 19+
- Applicants aged between 19 – 23 must hold a prior level 2 or above qualification in any subject except the subject they wish to apply for.
- Applicants over 23 do not need any entry qualifications
- Lives in England
- British Citizen or have been living within the EU for 3 years for purposes other than study
- Able to supply ID at induction
- Provide residency evidence if not a British citizen
