First Aid Refresher

A First Aid Refresher, under current Health & Safety Executive First Aid Regulation 1981 guidelines, although it is not mandatory, it is “strongly recommended” that First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work trained staff refresh their first aid skills on an annual basis. It is ideal for keeping your skills refreshed and up to date and allows candidates to gain further knowledge with any changes in first aid procedures during the 3 years of a valid certification.

This First Aid Refresher is run over 3 hours and provides first aiders with an opportunity to practise and update their skills as a qualified first aider, at any time while their first aid certificate is valid.

On completion, the successful candidate will be awarded certification in line with Health and Safety Executive First Aid Regulations 1981 as having completed a recommended First Aid Refresher which is valid for 1 year. If you require the Level 3 Accredited certification then you will be required to sit an exam of which on successful completion will receive a Level 3 RQF (Regulated Qualification Framework) ​Accredited Certification.

First Aid Refresher under current Health and Safety Executive guidelines, although not mandatory, is also “strongly recommended” for Paediatric First Aid and therefore can also be adapted to a Paediatric First Aid Annual Refresher in both accredited and non-accredited certification.
