3 Hour Health & Safety Awareness
This Health and Safety Awareness course has been designed to provide an update of health and safety to candidates holding the Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace. It can also be tailored for any workplace setting that requires an awareness of the subject.
Being safe at work is important. It is a responsibility shared by both the employer and the employee.
For employers, one of the fundamental principles of workplace health and safety is risk assessment which will identify all the hazards and potential for harm whilst working.
Employers must provide information and training on risk at work and on safe working practices. Employees must comply with safety requirements at work and take all reasonable precautions to keep safe.
All candidates who have taken the Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace are recommended to take a refresher course three years after completion. On successful completion all candidates will receive certification of a Health and Safety Annual Refresher if a prior Level 3 has been certified and certification of Health and Safety Awareness as a basic awareness course.
