Paediatric First Aid Training 6 hours
This Paediatric First Aid Training Course is delivered by a fully qualified instructor in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework and Ofsted guidelines.
Paediatric First Aid Training 6 hours is suitable for Nannies and Au pairs joining the Voluntary part of the Ofsted Childcare Register (OCR). Fast Response PFA Ltd is Local Authority approved but *please note* it is the candidates responsibility to check with their Local Authority to ensure that a 6 hour Paediatric Course will be sufficient for their line of work if they are to register with Ofsted. It may be that their Local Authority requires a 12 hr Paediatric First Aid course.
It is a one day course but can be divided into two sessions to suit your timetable. *Extra session costs will apply*
Certification is based on assessment by continuous observation throughout the course covering all practical sessions and on completion candidates who meet the required standard will receive a certificate in line with EYFS and Ofsted which is valid for 3 years. If you require the Level 3 Accredited certification then you will be required to sit a formal exam of which on successful completion will receive a Level 3 RQF (Regulated Qualification Framework) Accredited Certification.

- Managing Incidents
- Child and Baby Resuscitation (with Automated Defibrillator Awareness)
- Treating an Unconscious Child or Baby (Recovery Position)
- Choking Bleeding & Shock
- Minor Injuries
- Seizure / Epilepsy
- Regulations: First Aid Kits, Recording and reporting,
- Giving Medication
This course can also be tailored with additional information on medical conditions such as: Asthma, Anaphylactic Shock and Diabetes as requested. *Additional cost may apply*

Frequency: Every 3 years
Cost: Maximum 12 Candidates: £480.00 for group booking. This includes manual and certification in line with EYFS and Ofsted.
QA Level 3 Award:
Cost: Maximum 12 Candidates: £480.00 for group booking + £10 per person for exam and RQF (Regulated Qualification Framework) Accredited Certification.
