Safeguarding Adults Training
This Safeguarding Adults Training course aims to help increase your knowledge of the subject so that you feel confident in recognising abuse, reporting your concerns and promoting a good quality of life for all the vulnerable adults you work with. This includes preventing abuse, minimising risk without taking control away from individuals, and responding proportionately if abuse or neglect has occurred. It covers the signs of abuse and explains what to do if you suspect something is happening to a vulnerable adult. It’s all about sensitive handling and timely intervention.
Vulnerable adults exist in all areas of society and it’s important that we, as professionals, understand what we can do to promote their welfare and safeguard them from potential harm in order to help people with care and support needs to live full lives, free from abuse and neglect.
This course is aimed at health and social care but is suitable for all levels of staff whose workplace involves them in working with vulnerable adults.
