Safeguarding Adults Training
This Safeguarding Adults Training course aims to help increase your knowledge of the subject so that you feel confident in recognising abuse, reporting your concerns and promoting a good quality of life for all the vulnerable adults you work with. This includes not only preventing abuse but minimising risk without taking control away from individuals. It covers the signs of abuse and explains how to respond proportionately if you suspect abuse or neglect has occurred to a vulnerable adult. It’s all about sensitive handling and timely intervention.
Vulnerable adults exist in all areas of society and it’s important that we, as professionals, understand what we can do to promote their welfare and safeguard them from potential harm. In turn, this will help vulnerable people with care and support needs to live full lives, free from abuse and neglect.
Although this course meets the needs of the health and social care sector it is also suitable for all levels of staff whose workplace involves working with vulnerable adults.
