Blended Emergency First Aid at Work
Blended Emergency First Aid at Work is ideal for staff working in lower hazard environments and is ideal for small to medium-sized organisations to enable a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. It includes theory and practical sessions and will give you the confidence you need to carry out initial First Aid until further help arrives.
Delivery
The Emergency First Aid at Work course consists of an e-learning module (approximately 2 hours online) followed by completing 4 hours in the classroom to cover all the practical sessions of the course.
Part 1 – Candidates must complete the E Learning module before attending the face to face training. On booking this course we will send you the access to the E Learning module.
Part 2 – This is a 4hr face to face course where you will learn and demonstrate all the practical sections of the course.

Basic Life Support (CPR)
Treating an Unconscious Casualty (Including Seizures)
Control of Bleeding
Shock
Minor Injuries
Choking
Prevention of Cross Infection
Regulations (Recording and Reporting)
First Aid Kits
Assessment
A short multiple-choice assessment at the end of the e-learning module plus continuous assessment by your instructor throughout the face to face training course.
Certification
On successful completion of the course you will receive certification in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 which is recognised by FAIB and valid for 3 years.
Duration
The e-learning module will take up to 2 hours to complete plus, 4hrs face to face training.
Cost: Maximum 12 Candidates: £530.00 for group booking.
