Level 2 Business Start Up is ideal for anyone who wishes to start their own business, or already has a business but wants to develop and progress their business plan. The qualification is designed for learners seeking the skills and knowledge needed to develop a business start-up which will include the understanding of the initial processes and requirements of a setting up a new business, and will also include the marketing, legal and financial requirements, and an understanding of how to write a business plan.

Over half a million businesses are started up every year; however, 30% of these fail within the first two years. Having a better understanding of the initial processes and requirements of a business start-up can increase the chances of your business succeeding.

ELIGIBILITY

Age 19+
Applicants aged between 19 – 23 must hold a prior level 2 or above qualification in any subject except the subject they wish to apply for.
Applicants over 23 do not need any entry qualifications
Lives in England
British Citizen or have been living within the EU for 3 years for purposes other than study
Able to supply ID at induction
Provide residency evidence if not a British citizen
