Level 2 Personal Exercise and Nutrition and Health is ideal for those who wish to learn how to improve their personal health and well-being, by introducing them to the importance of health and well-being and how to improve in this area. These may be learners who wish to access this training with a view to progress to further qualifications or employment within sport and recreation, exercise and fitness, hospitality and catering or healthcare or simply for their own personal health and well being.
Poor diet and lack of exercise are recognised as some of the major contributors to ill health. Improving personal exercise along with a well balanced diet helps to reduce stress, improves sleep, reduces the risk of illness and increases life quality. Therefore, having a good understanding of diets, the role of nutrition in exercise and personal motivation is an important part of maintaining well-being.

ELIGIBILITY
- Age 19+
- Applicants aged between 19 – 23 must hold a prior level 2 or above qualification in any subject except the subject they wish to apply for.
- Applicants over 23 do not need any entry qualifications
- Lives in England
- British Citizen or have been living within the EU for 3 years for purposes other than study
- Able to supply ID at induction
- Provide residency evidence if not a British citizen
