Emergency First Aid at Work – 1 Day First Aid Course

Emergency First Aid at Work can be adapted to suit a particular audience within the Health and Safety First Aid Regulations 1981. This course is designed for staff working in lower hazard environments and is ideal for small to medium-sized organisations to enable a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. This one-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid knowledge providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment. It includes theory and practical sessions and will give you the confidence you need to carry out initial First Aid until further help arrives.

Assessment

Certification is based on assessment by continuous observation throughout the course covering all practical sessions and on completion candidates who meet the required standard will receive a certificate in line with Health and Safety Executive First Aid Regulations 1981 which is valid for 3 years. If you require the Level 3 Accredited certification then you will be required to sit a formal exam of which on successful completion will receive a Level 3 RQF (Regulated Qualification Framework) ​Accredited Certification.

Emergency First Aid at Work Training course also meets the requirements of an Appointed Person First Aid Course.

• Basic Life Support (CPR)
• Treating an Unconscious Casualty (Including Seizures)
• Control of Bleeding
• Shock 
• Minor Injuries
• Choking
• Prevention of Cross Infection
• Regulations (Recording and Reporting) First Aid Kits

Frequency: Every 3 years

Cost: Maximum 12 Candidates:£480.00 for group booking. This includes manual and certification.

QA Level 3 Award:

Cost: Maximum 12 Candidates: £480.00 for group booking + £10 per person for exam and RQF (Regulated Qualification Framework) Accredited Certification.
