Distance Learning

We are in partnership with The Learning Curve Group and are offering government funded Distance Learning courses in many subjects which are suitable for schools, care / residential / nursing homes and the workplace sector. As experts in building your workforce, we are offering you the opportunity to up-skill your staff of which the benefits to businesses are far-reaching and include maximising workforce efficiency, boosting business productivity, and creating a more committed and satisfied workforce.

These courses are Fully Funded Level 2  distance learning and can be delivered  online, or workbook-based with a delegated assessor / tutor for advice, guidance and support throughout. Funding is provided by the AEB (Adult Education Budget) and courses are accredited by the NCFE. We offer a wide range of courses to help you craft new skills or build on existing ones. By utilising available government pots of money that are specifically budgeted for learning, we are able to provide a number of different training course options for your sector.

Eligibility is as follows:

•  Minimum of 8 learners (10 in London)
• 19+ (born before 01/09/1997)
• Applicants aged between 19 – 23 but have a prior level 2 qualification in any subject except the subject they wish to apply for.
• Lives in England
• British Citizen or have been living within the EU for 3 years for purposes other than study
• Able to supply ID at induction
• Provide residency evidence if not a British citizen

Although we require a minimum of 8 learners to complete the induction, courses can be mixed, meaning each member of staff can choose a course of their choice and you don’t all have to be studying the same course. This gives each individual an opportunity to maximize their skills in the area of their work or to branch out into other areas to enhance their career.
