Level 2 Retail Operations
Retail Operations Level 2 is aimed at retail staff to fully train and equip them to represent your business and to meet the needs of your customers. The retail industry is subject to a number of pressures. These include changes in shopping habits and the recent economic downturn which reduced consumer spending. As removing staff from the ‘shop floor’ applies pressure to the staffing rota, this training can be carried out in the learner’s own time via our tried and tested flexible learning approach.
COURSE CONTENT
- Develop understanding of the different aspects of the retail industry
- Learn about customer payments and the selling process
- Understand how to provide good customer service
- Learn how to deal with queries and complaints
- Gain an understanding of basic retail law and the importance of correct stock control
ELIGIBILITY
- Age 19+
- Applicants aged between 19 – 23 must hold a prior level 2 or above qualification in any subject except the subject they wish to apply for.
- Applicants over 23 do not need any entry qualifications
- Lives in England
- British Citizen or have been living within the EU for 3 years for purposes other than study
- Able to supply ID at induction
- Provide residency evidence if not a British citizen
