First Aid Annual Refresher
A First Aid Annual Refresher, under current Health & Safety Executive First Aid Regulation 1981 guidelines is not mandatory. However, HSE guidelines “strongly recommend” that First Aiders refresh their first aid skills on an annual basis. The benefits of this course is that you can keep your skills refreshed and up to date and you will also gain further knowledge with any changes in first aid procedures during the 3 years of a valid certification.
Our First Aid Annual Refresher runs over 3 hours and provides first aiders with an opportunity to practise and update their skills as a qualified first aider annually while their first aid certificate is still valid.
On completion, the successful candidate will gain certification in line with Health and Safety Executive First Aid Regulations 1981 as having completed a recommended First Aid Refresher which is valid for 1 year. If you require the Level 3 Accredited certification then you will be required to sit an exam of which on successful completion will receive a Level 3 RQF (Regulated Qualification Framework) Accredited Certification.
Strongly Recommended
First Aid Refresher under current Health and Safety Executive guidelines also “strongly recommends” for Paediatric First Aid and therefore we can adapt to a Paediatric First Aid Annual Refresher in both accredited and non-accredited certification.
