Annual First Aid Refresher Update
An Annual First Aid Refresher, under current Health & Safety Executive First Aid Regulation 1981 guidelines is not mandatory. However, Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines “strongly recommend” that First Aiders refresh their first aid skills on an annual basis. The benefits of this course is that you can keep your skills refreshed and up to date and you will also gain further knowledge with any changes in first aid procedures during the 3 years of a valid certification.
Therefore, this course provides first aiders with an opportunity to update their skills as a qualified first aider annually while their First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work certificate is still valid.
