First Aid Online
First Aid Online For All The Family
Paediatric First Aid Online is the way forward to protecting your family in the wake of the coronavirus. When we send our children to schools and nurseries we expect that all staff are trained to deal with an emergency should it occur. Given that our schools and nurseries are closed and either you or a family member are the sole charge of your child / children are you qualified should an accident happen? Is this not the best time to make sure you are?
Children will always have unfortunate accidents and given the fact that our Ambulance service will be pushed to the maximum capacity you may wait longer for an ambulance than normal in the coming months.
Our Paediatric First Aid Online course is designed for parents, grandparents, babysitters or anyone looking after your children. Most first aid courses that are designed for parents to attend only cover the basic first aid techniques regarding babies and children over a couple of hours in a group setting but our online course covers ALL Paediatric First Aid topics.
Given that you as a parent may be either working from home or staying at home full time for the foreseeable future, having full knowledge to deal with any first aid emergency can stop a minor incident from becoming a major one and in the worst case scenario can make the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
As the course can be accessed as many times as you like, any member of the family or child carer can login if you give them access so therefore, by purchasing 1 course can provide knowledge for all the family.
This course is designed with colourful videos which would replace face to face practical sessions, easy reading information with images, quizzes and a mini -test at the end to test your knowledge.
The e-learning module will take approximately up to 6 hours to complete but candidates can spend as little or as much time on each subject as they wish, and they can go forward or back through the course at any time. This also allows the child carer to work at a pace that suits their time and needs as there is no timeline to complete the course.
We expect, when we put our children into nursery or school, that the staff are covered to deal with first aid emergencies. It is a legal requirement that they do. Why risk, as parents, not being covered ourselves? After all, lack of TIME is no longer an issue!
Paediatric First Aid starts with the prevention of accidents and the best place for prevention advice is here at The Child Prevention Trust.
But if the inevitable did happen – Would You Know What To Do?
